Over the years, a very popular request for fabric backing has been "surprise me."  To that, we always asked if the customer had a favorite color to help narrow down what "surprise me" would actually be well-received.  So the idea of a "surprise me" grab bag lot where you can choose a colorway yet not know exactly what fabric backings you will receive seemed a great add to our store.

These grab bag lots are a great way to have a variety of fabric backings for your pads  Please note: in larger orders, some backings may be duplicated. .Also, it does take longer to cut fabrics for grab bag sets, so the prices are set a little higher than our regular packages.

A quick run-down on what is included in the packages is as follows:

  • Try It Set - One 9" pad, one 10" pad, and one 12" pad
  • Start Up Package - Four 9" pads, four 10" pads, and two 12" pads
  • Set of Six pads or pantyliners in size specified - 10% off regular price

9" cloth pads are a great choice as a daytime pad, light day pad, teen size, or petite lady pad.   These also work well for stress incontinence with minimal loss.

10" cloth pads are a wonderful day or night size for medium flow.  We recommend this size if you simply want to try "one" pad.  These also work well for stress incontinence with about a 1oz loss.

12" cloth pads are recommended for heavy flow, day or night.  This includes postpartum use.  This size works well for stress incontinence with loss up to 4oz.  Add a zorb layer to the insert that comes with this pad for additional absorbency.

Please select a waterproof barrier for your pads.  ProECO PUL provides the ultimate breathable waterproofing.  Wool adds an extra layer of absorbency, is more breathable than PUL, but will not be as waterproof; thus, it will need to be changed when soiled.  Wool is not recommended for 12" pads nor pads used for incontinence.

Each cloth pad includes one insert.  Additional inserts are sold separately but are most often not needed if the pad can be changed in a reasonable amount of time.

Please note that our estimates for incontinence loss capacity do not equate to menstrual flow.  As blood is thicker than water, our pads can typically contain and hold more blood than urine.  Our estimates for incontinence loss are on the conservative side meaning they do not reflect what the pad will hold at saturation limit.  They reflect what the pad can absorb while still  keeping you dry with one insert added.  Additional inserts will boost the capacity of each pad.

These pads are custom sewn.  Turnaround time is approximately 7 working days.

See our Heavenly Cloth Pads product page for more information on our pads.

Found what I was looking for

I had been searching for cloth pads which were made from eco-friendly plant based fiber materials which could be broken into their parts and composted when worn (organic cotton, hemp; avoiding bamboo and conventional cotton as much as possible), had various sizes available to support the length of my menstruation, ideally produced in the USA; and eye-pleasing patterns were a bonus. I found these in Mom and Me Creations pads. After three cycles (I have a moderate to light bleed) they have been more than sufficient and I am confident that should my bleed return to it’s heavier flow, these will work just fine. To clean I soak for an hour in cold water, rinse then treat with stain remover as necessary and soak for 4 hours in cold water with detergent, then toss in with regular wash with oxyclean and line dry. There is some light staining, however it could be my water type or the fact that I wait until the end of my flow to wash them all together. It does not bother me as they are clean. They have softened with washes and now are not stiff after line drying. They are comfortable (I have never added the included liner, only used with sewn in layers), soft, and functional. The shipments I have ordered both arrived quickly and they are of high quality craftsmanship. Should I ever need more, I will order from them again and have already recommended them to others. So glad to have found and ordered from this family business!

The BEST

I have been using these pads for 15+ years. After all these years, mine are finally wearing out and I am replacing them. These pads are durable beyond belief. I wear them daily as a liner and they are perfect. Then I use them for cycle. I cannot believe how long they have lasted with all of the washing/wearing! They are so comfortable. I started my teen girls out using these cloth pads right from the start. They are beautifully made, durable, and very comfortable!! I can't brag on them enough!

Everything I dreamed of, and more!

I ordered these after an excessive amount of research. From cloth diapering my kids, I knew that I wanted natural fibers (ie. not microfiber, which is all I could find for the longest time), with PUL backing to make sure they didn't leak. That's what first led me to this site - everywhere else I could only find microfiber with PUL, or natural fiber with no waterproof backing. I was hooked when I found how affordable they are, combined with the incredible amount of customization! Every pad is made to order, so I was able to get exactly what I wanted, in a beautiful array of colors and sizes! I'm only on my second month using them, and there was definitely a bit of a learning curve the first month as far as how long I could wear one, so I ended up doing a load of laundry mid-week (which was no problem, as I was washing diapers anyway and just threw them in together after rinsing).

I would definitely recommend these. They're beautiful, fit well, and you can tell they're made with love!
